Does anyone know what this is

It’s very sharp and has cut me twice the color looks like rose quartz but the whole thing look like it’s made of tiny pieces of pink glass.
Please tell me what I found

I don't know what this is.

See if this geology map of the area helps. If you can pinpoint the location where you found your specimen it may give you some clues.
