Found this in woods

(Dayton, Ohio, USA)

I know nothing about what I found today it could be nothing but I would like to know about this finding.it looks to be a translucent Amber glossy texture but in the middle I found it to have deep red splots in the middle.its probably nothing but I do know that certain artifacts have been in Amber crystals.any ideas please email me at nicolesgamble86@gmail.com

This looks like agate to me. Try a scratch test. Agate will be a 7 on the mosh scale. Read the hardness section here:
