The value of rocks

Evangeline,

Well you won't get rich trying to sell them, but millions of people around the world have rock collections. Each one finds some value from their collection. I am sure there are may thousands of benefits they would list if asked what they get out of collecting rocks and minerals. Why did you pick up these rocks? Do you enjoy looking at them? Do they make you wonder how they got to be the way they are? What are they worth to you?
