Strange White and Silver Rock hamburger

by Peter
(Cebu Philippines)

I was walking around the provinces in the Philippines and after Typhoon new water courses had formed. A lot of new rocks were exposed. I dont know what kind of rock this is but the silver in the centre seems quite interesting. Looking for help to identify this kind of rock.

The white parts look like quartz. Quartz is often found associated with metals like gold and silver. I can't say what the silver layer is. Cebu does have gold and silver mines. With a little research you can find out if one of these mines is near where you found this rock.
